I'm having trouble viewing the video on the site!
I'm a member and can't view your live streaming video chats.

I'm having trouble viewing the video on the site!
For optimum results, download and save the video file to your hard drive first before viewing. To do this on a PC, simply right-click on the link and choose "Save Target As" from the menu that appears. To do this on a Mac, press and hold the mouse button over the link and choose "Save File to Disk" from the menu that appears.

Also, be sure you have the latest versions of Windows Media Player for PC, Windows Media Player for Mac and/or Apple Quicktime to play the video clips. They're all free to download and use!

I'm a member and can't view your live streaming video chats.
Requirements for viewing the live streaming video chats: Internet Explorer 4.0+, Netscape 4.0+ or AOL 5.0+. You must have java enabled in the browser. Both the video feed and text chat are java-based. The faster your Internet connection and the faster my Internet connection is during the chat, the faster and better-quality video feed you will get. It is recommend that you do not run other programs during the chat or browse or other sites, as this will slow down your connection.

The video requires ActiveX controls to be installed. This almost always comes standard in the browser installation with IE and Netscape 4.0+.
ActiveX is also included as part of Microsoft's update and can be found on their website. Some versions of IE have an option to enable/disable java and/or ActiveX controls. Java and ActiveX MUST be enabled.

If you run an anti-virus program like Norton, you may need to disable it first before entering the chatroom.

If you use Windows XP: In Internet Explorer, from the Tools pull-down menu option, select Internet Options. From the Advanced tab, in the category Java, you must make sure the [Sun] Java "Use version 1.31_xxx" is not checked. Under Virtual Machine, the last box must be checked. Restart Internet Explorer and you'll be all set.

If you use Mac OS: My chatroom utilizes Windows Media Encoder to broadcast live video. Usually, Mac users will not be able to see the video embedded on the web page and must launch the Windows Media player separately. Upon entering the chatroom, your browser will prompt you for this. Select "OK" and you shouldn't have any problems viewing the video in the standalone player.

If you still experience problems viewing the video feed, you should clear your cache (Temporary Internet Files) and reboot the computer. This usually helps when all else fails.

If you are unable to enter the text chatroom, it is likely that someone is already using that same username. Try selecting a new name to use for the chat for that session. If that doesn't work, try using the LITE version of the chat program by selecting that option before entering the chatroom.

I can't view the new updates, but I know they've been posted.
Make sure you refresh your browser. If that doesn't work, try clearing your cache (Temporary Internet Files) and then logging into the site again to view the updates.

I sent you an email but have not heard back within forty-eight (48) hours.
Some Yahoo, Hotmail and other email account users have reported finding my emails in their junk or bulk mail folders. Please check to make sure my message wasn't automatically deleted by your filtering software, and/or add my email domain (lindatran.net) to your list of approved senders. If you cannot find my message or if your bulk mail folder has already been deleted, please re-send your inquiry, then monitor your inbox and bulk mail folders for my response.
